1. Scope

This disclaimer applies to every product, catalogue image, datasheet and specification page published on www.eastbaybulb.com. It supplements — it does not replace — the sales contract, pro-forma invoice and quality agreement signed for a specific order.

2. Specifications are indicative

Wattage, lumen output, colour temperature (CCT), colour rendering index (CRI), beam angle and rated lifespan quoted on this website are typical values measured on production samples under laboratory conditions per IEC 62612 / IEC 62560. Real-world performance varies with fixture design, ambient temperature, mains voltage stability and dimmer compatibility. Final specifications for any purchase are the values printed on the confirmed pro-forma invoice.

3. Installation

Lighting products must be installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with the wiring regulations of the destination country (e.g. IEC 60364, NEC, BS 7671, GB 50303). Always disconnect power at the breaker before replacing a bulb. Do not install a bulb whose wattage or base type does not match the fixture rating. Enclosed or fully-recessed luminaires require a bulb explicitly marked "enclosed-rated" — not every SKU in our catalogue qualifies.

4. Operating environment

Unless otherwise stated on the datasheet, our bulbs are rated for dry indoor use, ambient temperature -20 °C to +40 °C, relative humidity up to 85 % non-condensing. Outdoor, damp-location or high-vibration applications require a fixture with the appropriate IP / IK rating and a bulb qualified for that environment. UVB reptile lamps must be used only inside a terrarium fixture with the correct guard mesh and minimum basking distance stated on the product label.

5. Dimming and control gear

LED filament bulbs marked "dimmable" are tested against a representative set of leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers, but full compatibility with every dimmer on the market cannot be guaranteed. Buyers intending to sell into markets with specific dimmer standards must request a compatibility sample before placing a mass-production order.

6. Not intended for critical applications

Our products are general-purpose illumination bulbs. They are NOT designed, tested or certified for medical diagnosis or therapy, aviation, marine navigation, nuclear-facility lighting, life-safety emergency lighting, plant-growth horticulture at commercial scale, or any other application where failure of a single bulb could cause personal injury, environmental damage or significant financial loss.

7. Warranty

Standard warranty is 12 months from date of Bill of Lading against manufacturing defect, subject to the returns procedure in the sales contract. Warranty is void if the product has been installed in a non-conforming fixture, operated outside the rated voltage window, physically damaged, or if the batch code has been removed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any single claim is limited to replacement of the defective product or refund of the invoice value of that product, whichever the buyer prefers. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of use, or the cost of removing and re-installing bulbs.

9. Feedback

Suspected product-safety issues should be reported to info@eastbaybulb.com with the batch code, purchase date and photographs. See also our Export Supply Disclaimer for market-certification limits.
